On 30 March 2025, Etihad Airways will introduce a revised Minimum Connection Time (MCT) for flights operated by Etihad at Abu Dhabi International Airport. The new MCT for Etihad to Etihad flights will be reduced from 60 to 45 minutes.

This change will apply to all travel dates on or after 30 March 2025, except for flights bound for the United States.

For US-bound flights MCT, please see details below:

• Economy passengers checking in at AUH: 2 hours
• Business/First class and transit passengers: 90 minutes

For all other airline connections (e.g., codeshare, interline, or other transit airports), please consult your GDS for the applicable MCT.
