We’re delighted to announce the relaunch of our Kolkata route as well as increased frequencies to New York. This is part of our expansion plans for even greater global connectivity. 

Kolkata daily service:

From 26 March 2023, we will fly daily on the Abu Dhabi – Kolkata route to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport (CCU).

Flights will be operated with an Airbus A320 aircraft, offering Etihad’s award-winning service to guests in 8 seats in Business Class and 150 in Economy.

Double daily to New York:

Our guests can now enjoy greater flexibility in their travel plans with our increased flights to New York. This provides them with greater options across key business and leisure destinations in our expanding global network.

Flights will be operated with both Airbus A350 aircraft and Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, two of the most efficient aircrafts in the world. They’re part of our ongoing sustainability efforts, with significantly less fuel burn and CO2 emissions than previous-generation twin aisle aircraft.

Flight schedule for Abu Dhabi – New York service, effective 24 April 2023:

The return of Kolkata and the double daily New York service increases our network connectivity between India and the USA.

Those travelling to the Big Apple can also benefit from the only US CBP Pre-clearance facility in the region. This allows them to clear immigration in Abu Dhabi for a seamless arrival experience in the States.
