Important update: Travelling to Jeddah

03 April 2024, 12:40 PM

We have some important updates for guests travelling to Jeddah.

  • Saudi Arabian nationals and GCC states can travel to and from Saudi Arabia with a national identity card only.
  • Guests will be unable to enter Saudi Arabia if they've been in Iran in the past 14 days.
  • Guests must check the validity of their visa before they travel at visa.mofa.gov.sa.
  • If the guest is a UAE national or resident planning to travel from Abu Dhabi to Jeddah, they need a certificate showing they had a seasonal flu vaccine.
  • If guests are transiting through Abu Dhabi and their journey didn't start in the UAE, or if they have a medical condition that prevents them from getting the flu vaccine and have supporting documents, they don't need to get vaccinated. Also, if they been vaccinated in the past year, they are not required to have a new vaccination certificate.
  • Before guests travel for Hajj or Umrah, they need to make sure to check the health and vaccination requirements on the Hajj and Umrah Health Requirements website.
