All trade partners are kindly advised to inform travellers of the following mandatory health requirements for Umrah, effective 10 February 2025 : 

1. Meningococcal Vaccine (Quadrivalent ACYW-135): 

    - Required for all travellers aged 1 year and above 

    - Must be administered at least 10 days before arrival in Saudi Arabia 

    - Vaccination certificate valid for 3 years 

2. Polio Vaccine: 

    - Mandatory for travellers from countries with reported polio cases 

    - Must be administered at least 4 weeks before arrival 

3. Yellow Fever Vaccine: 

    - Required for travellers from countries with risk of yellow fever transmission

Airlines must implement the following procedures: 

- Verify valid vaccination certificates at check-in 

- Ensure certificates meet specified timeframes 

- Deny boarding to passengers without proper documentation 

Strict adherence to these requirements is essential to prevent travel disruptions and ensure public health and safety.
