GDS for Etihad and ITA Airways codeshare tickets closed for sale from 15 February 2023:

As part of an ambitious digital transformation to enhance our booking and servicing solutions for our travel partners and guests, Etihad and ITA Airways will be upgrading our selling systems. We will be migrating from Sabre to the Amadeus Altea PSS system.

To make this change possible, codeshare tickets for EY*AZ and AZ*EY codeshare marketing flights have been closed for sale from 15 February 2023, effective immediately and for the system range. This affects these codeshare flights only.

A temporary closure of interline sales is also necessary from 15 February 2023 - 12 Mar2023

We expect to be back on sale for travel from week commencing 12 March 2023:

Pending successful migration of both airline systems we anticipate we will reopen EY AZ codeshare sales from week commencing 12 March 2023. There may be some interruption to interline selling for a similar period.

Recommendation of existing bookings affected and action required:

Etihad Airways is offering the following options for tickets issued on/before 14-Nov-2022 for travel between 15-Feb-23 and 15-Mar-2023 for tickets including AZ sector, existing interline tickets affected will have to be exchanged by travel agents. 

AZ segments have been added to the Etihad PNRs — Travel agents must process ticket exchanges, with the correct waiver code in endorsement box. If agents are unable able to see new AZ segments in PNRs, they will have to add them, as either an ‘arrival information’, or sell as a fresh segment. 

Rebooking

• Changes are Free of charge for travel on/before 15 May 2023
• No fare difference to be charged for tickets reissued in the same RBD
• AZ secotors can be booked as below 

• No show fee applies when the guest(s) book themselves on a flight which operates and is a no show
• Please ensure the PNR and endorsement is updated with the remark "INVOL CW005-2022 EY/AZ PSS Migration”

Cancellation

• Refund is permitted FOC for all guest impacted

• Refund on partially utilized ticket must be calculated based upon pro-rate of sector flown

• Please ensure the PNR is updated with the remark "INVOL CW005-2022 EY/AZ PSS Migration”.
