Etihad Direct to Thailand

27 March 2025, 03:00 PM

Etihad Airways is set to enhance its connectivity to Thailand with the launch of two new direct flights from Abu Dhabi in 2025. The airline will introduce flights to Krabi (KBV) starting 9 October 2025 and to Chiang Mai (CNX) beginning 3 November 2025. These new routes will provide travellers with convenient access to two of Thailand's most captivating destinations.

Krabi, nestled in southern Thailand, is a paradise for nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts. Known for its stunning limestone cliffs, pristine beaches, and crystal-clear waters, Krabi offers a plethora of attractions. Visitors can explore the famous Railay Beach, accessible only by boat, or take a trip to the picturesque Phi Phi Islands. The region boasts unique experiences such as the Emerald Pool, Tiger Cave Temple, and the 75 Million-Year-Old Shell Cemetery.

Chiang Mai, located in northern Thailand, presents a stark contrast to Krabi's coastal beauty. As the cultural capital of Thailand, Chiang Mai offers a rich tapestry of history, art, and cuisine. Visitors can explore ancient temples, vibrant night markets, and participate in traditional Thai cooking classes. The city also serves as a gateway to the lush mountains and hill tribe villages of northern Thailand.
