We’re updating our fees for changes, cancellations and no-shows effective 21 March 2024.
For tickets issued or reissued on and after 21 March 2024, our new policies will apply. The updated structures will be available on GDS from 21 March.
The changes are going live on 21st March 2024
Changes have been made to the Cancellation, Changes and No-show policies.
The following are the benefits of this change:
The rules of the original ticket will apply, i.e., the guest will be charged 96 hours change fee.
The travel agent must cancel the booking, and either refund or reissue the ticket before four hours of flight departure to avoid no-show fees. Cancelling the booking only without refunding or reissuing will not waive no-show fees.
No-show fees are waived if the guest is unable to travel due to reasons such as flight disruption, oversell, MedLink offload or death in the family. A no-show fee applies in all other cases including immigration offloads.
The system applies conversion rates as per transaction date.
Yes, this understanding is correct. Fees for further exchanges or refunds will be as per the new fare.
A change fee will apply as per the changed fare component. In case an upsell of the outbound fare is required (HBO in this scenario), the non-changeable condition of HBO will apply.
The fare rules are now displayed separately for "change fees" and "change fees + no-show fees." When manually calculating fees, the agent shouldn't add them all together.
