With the merger of Air India (AI) and Vistara (UK) agents who issued UK sectors on EY stock are required to take the below action for bookings migrated to AI operated flights (flight range AI 2000-2999) for travel on / after 12th November 2024.
Appreciate if agents can take prompt action to support their customers booking.
The change started from 3rd September and is being rolled out by AI in phases.
Agent must cancel the UN segment, change TK to HK and reissue the ticket involuntarily and update the PNR remarks “UK-AI REACC”. Standard Schedule Change policy does not apply here. The ticket must be reissued on the AI flight that has been offered. Any other changes will follow fare rules.
Travel agents will receive notifications about the changes in their schedule change queues, while guests who booked directly with Etihad will receive their reissued tickets via email.
No, the original flight timings remain unchanged. The only adjustment is to the flight number itself.
Voluntary change fare rules apply. Manual reissue may be required.
